Kennedy Adviser Disagrees on Issues, Still Backs Campaign

A senior campaign adviser of independent presidential candidate Robert F. Kennedy Jr. has expressed some disagreements with the candidate’s views but continues to support the campaign. Charles Eisenstein, known for his work in environmental activism, has been involved in the Kennedy campaign for about a year. He has previously criticized certain policies of Kennedy and has stated that winning the election is not the main goal of the campaign. Although Eisenstein has a substantial following on Substack, he announced that he will be taking a break from writing to focus on his campaign responsibilities.

Eisenstein has specifically disagreed with Kennedy’s stance on the Israel-Hamas war. Despite this disagreement, he remains committed to the campaign, believing that Kennedy is the best candidate compared to the other options. Furthermore, he emphasized his belief in the potential catastrophic outcomes if other candidates like Trump or Biden were to secure a second term in office.

Eisenstein has also expressed his support for Kennedy’s presidential bid while acknowledging that he does not agree with Kennedy on every issue. Additionally, he has expressed skepticism towards certain public health initiatives, such as the COVID-19 vaccine, in alignment with Kennedy’s views.

Despite these differences and hesitancies, Eisenstein stands by his commitment to the Kennedy campaign and his confidence in Kennedy’s potential to win the election.
