Left Obsessed with Trump as Biden Steers Agenda Off Course

The notion that Donald Trump is somehow pulling the strings in Washington while mere mortals like Joe Biden and his crew stumble around in the president’s office is nothing short of comedic. The narrative promoting Trump as the so-called “shadow president” is just another manifestation of the left’s obsession with their favorite bogeyman. In reality, it is President Biden who is setting the agenda, albeit with the grace of a toddler learning to walk.

Even though Trump is back on the international stage, clearly still holding the attention of world leaders who remember the days of America First, it doesn’t change the fact that his tenure concluded. The Biden administration is pushing its radical agenda through at a breakneck pace, seemingly undeterred by the consequences. Whether it’s climate regulations that would make the Green New Deal blush or foreign policies that seem to confuse even the most die-hard Democrats, Biden is on a mission to move the country left, whether Americans like it or not.

Trump’s influence looms large, no doubt about that. His policies revamped the economy, brought peace agreements nobody thought possible, and exposed the media’s double standards in shining a spotlight on global issues. However, just because he still draws crowds and has a significant following doesn’t equate to a political puppet master scenario where he dictates what the current administration does. Sadly for Trump enthusiasts (and fortunately for the rest of America), the President is out doing his thing, while our current Commander-in-Chief focuses on enacting radical policies that have little to do with what many Americans actually need or want.

The bizarre twist in this tale is how the left keeps trying to paint Trump as the villain even from the sidelines, while Biden stumbles through his presidency with gaffes that leave even his supporters shaking their heads. Americans might wish to see a replay of the previous administration, but wishing doesn’t make it so. Instead, they have to grapple with an administration that often seems more interested in scoring political points than addressing the real issues that impact their daily lives.

In the end, whether or not Trump has influence on the global stage, he isn’t sneaking around like the Invisible Man, casting shadows over Biden’s presidency. It’s Biden and his band of leftists who are firmly at the helm, steering the ship right into treacherous waters. If anything, they should be more worried about their own shadow of incompetence than giving Trump too much credit for their disasters. It’s a tough job being President, and from the looks of it, Biden’s more than happy to make it harder for himself.
