In the aftermath of the assassination attempt on former President Donald Trump, the left seems determined to grasp at straws in a desperate attempt to push their own twisted agenda. From ludicrous claims that the shooting was staged to wild conspiracy theories involving Putin-like tactics, the left is showcasing just how detached from reality they truly are.
One such example is Dmitri Mehlhorn, a political advisor to a prominent Democrat mega-donor, who shamelessly floated the idea that the attempt on Trump’s life was somehow orchestrated by Trump himself. Blaming the incident on a supposed strategy straight out of Putin’s playbook, Mehlhorn’s delusions know no bounds.

What’s even more absurd is Mehlhorn’s outrage that mainstream media outlets are not jumping on his fabricated bandwagon. It’s as if he can’t fathom that responsible journalism wouldn’t entertain such baseless claims.
But this is just the tip of the iceberg when it comes to the left’s desperation to spin the assassination attempt in their favor. While some are quick to propagate lies and falsehoods, others are simply unable to come to terms with the fact that there are individuals in their camp capable of such heinous acts.
The truth of the matter is crystal clear – there was a real attempt on Trump’s life, resulting in loss of life and injuries. Trying to concoct elaborate schemes to downplay the seriousness of the situation is not just intellectually dishonest, it’s downright dangerous.
It’s evident that the left’s only motivation in spreading these outlandish theories is purely political. They are willing to sacrifice truth and decency on the altar of partisanship. But as the facts continue to emerge, their house of cards built on lies and deceit will inevitably come crashing down.
