Phil Jackson, a legendary former NBA coach, recently made comments implying that he no longer watches the NBA due to the presence of social justice activism in the league. And sports analyst Jalen Rose was not having it!
Rose passionately called out Jackson, reminding him that he made millions on the “backs” of “some of the greatest Black athletes in the history of the game,” such as Michael Jordan, Scottie Pippen, Shaquille O’Neal, and Kobe Bryant. He also suggested that Jackson may hold racial prejudices against Black Americans.
It’s no surprise that the leftists in the NBA are pushing their social justice agenda onto fans. They even had slogans on the court, trying to bring in a certain audience while turning others off. And why? People want sports to be non-political, a place where we can come together and enjoy the game without being bombarded by leftist propaganda.
Phil Jackson, widely seen as the greatest coach in NBA history, says he doesn’t watch the NBA anymore because of all the political slogans introduced in 2020. He’s not alone in this. My oldest daughter and I used to love watching but it got too political to watch. pic.twitter.com/bV6Sb0qvrK

But instead of respecting fans, Jackson wants to show his true colors and turn his back on the league that made him a legend. It’s a shame that someone with such a great basketball legacy would take such a stance against the very players who helped make him successful. But I guess when it comes to Jackson, the money was all that mattered.
In conclusion, let’s continue to call out these leftists in the NBA who are trying to push their agenda on fans. And let’s not forget the so-called “legends” like Phil Jackson who are all too happy to cash in on their success, but turn their backs when it comes to standing up for what’s right.
