The latest report from the liberal echo chamber indicates a new trend: liberal institutions insist on their right to handle taxpayer money without any accountability whatsoever. Harvard University, in yet another one of its displays of elite arrogance, has chosen to thumb its nose at concerns over Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI) practices and rising antisemitism on campus. The result? A financial crisis that’s left many scratching their heads. Who would have thought that championing social justice could be so costly?
While the federal government continues to pour gobs of taxpayer dollars into these academic black holes, it’s clear that the only thing getting educated is the wallet of these institutions. The same schools that preach equity and inclusion are paradoxically costing taxpayers a pretty penny while failing to deliver on the principles they preach. It begs the question: when will conservatives demand a halt to funding these leftist breeding grounds, especially when they show such blatant disregard for American values?
In another misguided effort to control personal freedoms, left-wingers have turned their sights on man’s best friend. Believing that all joy must be squashed under their heavy-handed rule, they seem poised to come after families’ beloved pets next. If they think Americans will trade their best pals for crickets and kale, they must be more out of touch than a professor claiming to be a “dog parent” while advocating for anti-canine policies. The canine takeover isn’t happening, so it’s time for the left to come to terms with that reality.

Amid the chaos, Stephen Miller remains a steadfast ally of President Trump. Regardless of opinions about him personally, it’s hard to deny that Miller’s strategic prowess has played a huge role in pushing forward the administration’s agenda. The effectiveness of his contributions solidifies him as a formidable figure for conservatives who are desperate to see the MAGA movement reignited as the midterms approach.
While Congress seems to take an extended vacation—unless they’re busy discussing the next frivolous bill—the National Republican Congressional Committee has been raking in some serious cash. A whopping $36.7 million in the first quarter alone highlights the urgency conservative candidates will have in their fight against Democrat disarray in the upcoming midterms. If anyone thinks the Democrats will roll over, they are sorely mistaken. It’s a battleground out there.
As Tax Day rolls around, conservatives are basking in the glow of the Tax Cuts and Jobs Act while liberal lawmakers clamor for more ways to siphon money from hardworking citizens. A little nostalgia for those tax cuts is only natural, especially when one realizes that many constituents benefitted from the legislation while the left attempted to spin it as a giveaway to the wealthy elite. If only there was a way to transition to a fair consumption tax, perhaps relief could be permanent—and better yet, joys in life could remain intact without being preyed upon by an ever-hungry government. For now, the American public is left hoping that their representatives can find a path away from the endless taxing and spending spiral.
