Recently, a journalist named Jorge Ventura captured a striking moment involving an unidentified protestor who stopped a car merely to interrogate the driver regarding his potential connection to ICE. The past few weeks have revealed a growing trend where individuals feel emboldened to take matters into their own hands, asserting their authority in ways that seem to parallel the very agency they set out to challenge.
Ventura’s footage raises eyebrows, especially since this protestor claimed to have accessed a system that equipped him to identify and scan license plates—something not typically available to the average citizen. This convenience allowed the agitator to question whether the lawful driver was indeed affiliated with ICE before permitting him to continue on his way.
