When liberals on cable news try to score cheap points using children’s tragedies, Americans ought to see right through them. The latest uproar over a supposed U.S. missile strike on an Iranian girls’ elementary school is just the latest chapter in the left’s favorite script—vilify America, protect our enemies, and cry crocodile tears whenever it’s convenient for them. Instead of focusing on Iran’s decades-long terror campaign, these liberal panels rush to blame American leaders, who are finally doing what weak presidents never had the guts to: defend this nation and stop evil in its tracks.
Serious investigations are still ongoing, but let’s set the record straight—the school that was hit sat right next to an Iranian military compound. The so-called “elementary school” shared a border with the fanatics of the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps. When Iran’s regime deliberately uses children as human shields, placing their military hardware beside civilian targets, they are the ones responsible for the bloodshed. The United States never targets civilians. When accidents happen, it’s because the enemy purposefully hides among innocents, daring us to respond so that useful idiots in Western media will blame America.

The left’s outrage is phony and self-serving. They see a tragic moment as a golden ticket to bash those standing up to terror. None of the liberal outrage mobs cried for the hundreds of thousands dead from Iran’s reign of terror. They don’t care about the real victims—instead, they salivate at any chance to take down President Trump and his allies. Their bias is so obvious it’s laughable.
Let’s not forget why these hard calls are being made. War is ugly, and loss is always heartbreaking, but sometimes doing the right thing means facing brutal choices. The long-term safety of American families—and the future of the entire free world—depends on ending Iran’s power to threaten anyone. Americans can spot a double standard when they see one. Liberals refuse to see the difference between our country, which agonizes over every civilian death, and bloodthirsty terror regimes that brag about attacks on innocents.
Enough with the phony moralizing from talking heads who have never had to make a hard choice in their lives. While past presidents made excuses, this Commander-in-Chief is doing what needs to be done to keep America and the world safe. The left can harass and nitpick all they want—but at the end of the day, whose side are they really on?
