Lockheed Martin’s Woke Agenda Criticized Amid New Trump Administration Priorities

Lockheed Martin appears to have taken a deep dive into the murky waters of ‘Wokism,’ a trend that has many Republicans scratching their heads in disbelief. With Shelly O’Neill Stoneman at the helm of government affairs, the concern is whether this defense giant can play nice under a President Trump administration, one that promotes an America First agenda. Stoneman’s track record as a vocal critic of Trump and an ardent supporter of his rivals raises a red flag. After all, it’s hard to trust a ship captain who’s been busy trying to sink it.

Those close to the incoming Trump administration have pointed fingers at Lockheed Martin, branding it as the poster child for everything wrong with corporate America today. With a leader as vocally anti-Trump as Stoneman, one has to wonder why she is even in a position of influence within a company that profits from government contracts. According to sources, her brand of ‘wokeness’ could undermine America’s competitive edge, particularly against China, which seems to be quite satisfied watching the American defense industry squander its resources on virtue signaling rather than strategic prowess.

Stoneman has not been shy about her political leanings, making it clear that her allegiance lies not with the patriots of our nation but with the very forces that attempt to weaken it. When asked about putting her beliefs aside to work with the new administration, her non-answer was full of buzzwords and generalities, devoid of any real commitment. This vague attempt at bipartisanship should raise eyebrows among anyone concerned about national security. She claimed that bipartisan cooperation is crucial for the military’s strength but conveniently glosses over her outright disdain for the previous administration.

The wokeness on display doesn’t end there. Lockheed’s senior VP has previously hailed the Biden administration’s repeal of the ban on transgender individuals in the military as a tremendous triumph. She even expressed joy over it being a “great day for America.” While Stoneman basks in her “progressive” accolades, the American people are left to wonder whether a focus on identity politics in the military is what they deserve in exchange for their tax dollars.

Even more concerning is the company’s history of mandating employees to partake in so-called “diversity training.” It has been reported that Lockheed Martin facilitated a “White Men’s Caucus,” which purportedly involved discussions that equated being a white male with a whole host of negative traits. The fact that a defense contractor is spending taxpayer dollars indoctrinating its employees with political correctness raises serious questions about the company’s priorities. Are they focusing on protecting the nation, or are they more interested in checking boxes for diversity quotas?

The backlash from Republicans toward Lockheed Martin’s woke culture is palpable. Critics question why one of America’s top defense contractors has embraced such a divisive agenda, likening it to corporate suicide when the American people have shown they’re fed up with the left’s agenda. There’s solid reasoning behind the call to clean house, suggesting that bloat and obstruction by countless woke employees could very well sap the company of the innovation and effectiveness it desperately needs to compete on the global stage. It seems Stoneman is driving Lockheed Martin down a path that could lead to its own undoing, with the potential to harm not just the company but the nation’s defense capabilities as well.
