Department of Homeland Security (DHS) Secretary Alejandro Mayorkas has become the ultimate alien enabler, bringing a staggering five million illegal aliens into our country in just three years. Yes, you read that right. Five million! That’s more than the number of babies born in America every year. This is like a full-scale invasion happening right before our eyes, and it’s all thanks to Mayorkas.
Rep. Mark Green (R-TN), who chairs the House Homeland Security Committee, isn’t taking Mayorkas’s reckless actions lightly. He has opened impeachment hearings against the DHS chief, and rightly so. Green unveiled Mayorkas’s nefarious Catch and Release scheme during the hearings. Under this program, the DHS processes a whopping 85 percent of illegal aliens before releasing them into American communities. It’s like they’re playing a twisted game of “catch us if you can” with our national security.

These mind-boggling numbers don’t lie. DHS data shows that over three million inadmissible aliens have been set loose in our country under Mayorkas’s watch. And that’s not even counting the 1.8 million known “gotaways.” It’s like the population of an entire state has been brought in illegally. That’s more than South Carolina’s population, folks. Talk about overwhelming our infrastructure and resources!
But it gets worse. The majority of these released illegal aliens will end up getting work permits, allowing them to take American jobs. This is a win for big business, Wall Street, and real estate investors who want to keep wages low and housing demand high. They want to flood the labor market and create a surplus of consumers for their products. It’s all about money, money, money for these elites, and Mayorkas is their willing accomplice.
And let’s not forget how Mayorkas has completely abandoned border enforcement. Under the Obama administration, 82 percent of illegal aliens were detained from the moment they were encountered. But now, under Mayorkas, that number has plummeted to just ten percent. That’s a shocking drop, folks. And the number of illegal aliens who are never detained has skyrocketed from nine percent in 2013 to a whopping 64 percent in 2021. It’s like Mayorkas has given the green light for anyone and everyone to come into our country, no questions asked.
Just when you think it couldn’t get any worse, Mayorkas had the audacity to visit the U.S.-Mexico border and call on Congress to approve Biden’s billions of dollars in funding to bus and fly even more border crossers and illegal aliens into our nation’s interior. Is he out of his mind? We are already overwhelmed with the influx, and he wants to bring in even more? This isn’t enforcing our nation’s laws, as Mayorkas claims. It’s actively encouraging lawlessness and endangering the American people.
Mayorkas’s reign as DHS chief has been nothing short of a disaster. It’s time for him to be held accountable for his reckless actions. I applaud Rep. Green for taking a stand and calling for Mayorkas’s impeachment. Our country deserves a leader who will prioritize the safety and security of American citizens, not one who enables and encourages the illegal invasion of our nation. Mayorkas must go, and we must secure our borders once and for all.
