In a world that is increasingly turning its back on common sense and safety, the tragic events on a North Carolina train last week are a sobering wake-up call. The brutal murder of 23-year-old Iryna Zarutska, a young Ukrainian woman, should be a headline everywhere. Yet, many mainstream media outlets were quiet. Where’s the outrage? Where’s the wall-to-wall coverage that other stories seem to get? It’s a scandal born out of selective reporting and political bias.
The man responsible for this horrifying act, identified as Decarlos Brown Jr., was arrested and charged with first-degree murder. There’s undeniable proof captured on surveillance, leaving no doubt about his deadly actions. Do Americans not deserve to know when violence strikes in our heartland? Or is it that this story doesn’t fit the narrative that the liberal media wants to promote?

Meanwhile, conservative leaders, including the likes of Senator Ted Cruz and President Donald Trump, have rightly expressed their condemnation of this senseless act and criticized those media outlets that failed to report it. Trump, in particular, continues to shine a light on the crime waves affecting our nation, pushing back against the complacency and softness of liberal policies that enable such chaos.
The media’s silence speaks volumes. They’ve prioritized pushing their woke agenda instead of addressing the real issues of public safety and crime prevention. This reluctance to cover the real stories is a betrayal of the American people’s right to unbiased information.
So, as we wait for the liberal press to catch up, the question remains: When will decency, safety, and truth make a comeback in America’s media landscape?
