Middle School Exposed to “Gender Queer” Smut, Libs Shrug!

A Massachusetts middle school was at the center of controversy after a sneaky book called “Gender Queer” made its way into the hands of innocent 8th graders. The book, filled with scandalous illustrations of same-sex encounters and explicit content, prompted a concerned citizen to summon a heroic police officer to the scene. The noble officer, decked out in plainclothes and armed with a body camera, rushed to W.E.B. Du Bois Regional Middle School in Great Barrington, ready to take on the smut. The sighting of such indecency led to a call to the Berkshire Attorney General’s office, hoping for the swift removal of this filth from the school’s premises. Unfortunately, the case was dismissed, leaving the community to wonder who will protect the fragile minds of these impressionable youths.

The superintendent of the school insisted that “Gender Queer” was not an official part of the curriculum but merely a supplementary book available for students to check out. But one can only imagine the horror when unsuspecting children stumbled upon this lewd material. Democrat Gov. Maura Healey of Massachusetts boldly declared that no book should be banned, regardless of its explicit nature. It seems Governor Healey is more concerned with ensuring the proliferation of shocking and inappropriate material than with the well-being and moral development of the state’s children.

The author of “Gender Queer,” Maia Kobabe, revealed in an interview with the Washington Post that the book was never intended for young readers. Kobabe, who uses unconventional pronouns, emphasized that the book was created for a mature audience and acknowledged that it is not suitable for children. Yet, despite the author’s own admission, the forces that be are acting as if this book is perfectly okay for young, impressionable minds to consume.

The graphic content of “Gender Queer” includes explicit discussions and depictions of sexual acts and implements that are utterly inappropriate for children. It’s truly disheartening to see that some individuals in positions of power are so eager to push this material onto young, unsuspecting individuals. It’s times like these when we need to give thanks for the brave souls like the concerned citizen and the vigilant police officer, who recognize the dangerous territory we are entering when we allow such obscenities to infiltrate our schools.
