Navarro Exposes Obama’s Role in Russiagate: Time for Accountability

Peter Navarro didn’t mince words when he told reporters that Barack Obama was “up to his neck” in the Russiagate operation that hounded President Trump for years, and he’s not alone in saying the newly released documents point straight to the top. Director of National Intelligence Tulsi Gabbard’s declassification of the House intelligence report and related materials has ripped the bandage off what patriots suspected for years — that powerful people in the Obama White House played a decisive role in framing a narrative that cost this country dearly.

Those declassified records show the Obama administration ordered and shaped an Intelligence Community Assessment after the 2016 election that many now say was engineered to promote a false narrative about Russian collusion. Conservatives who warned about politicized intelligence have been vindicated by real documents, not just partisan rhetoric; this isn’t hearsay anymore, it’s paperwork that should make every American alarmed about how politics can weaponize our national security apparatus.

For years the media and the Democratic establishment treated the Russia story like gospel while protecting the names and the institutions that pushed it, but the truth has a way of surfacing despite their best efforts to bury it. Now Republicans and patriots rightly demand accountability — not for revenge, but to restore the rule of law and stop officials from abusing intelligence to sabotage a political opponent. The Department of Justice has even opened fresh inquiries into Crossfire Hurricane and related actions, which should send a chill through anyone who thinks elite immunity still protects lawless acts.

None of this erases the mistakes of 2016, but the Inspector General’s probe and subsequent disclosures already showed the FBI’s handling of the probe was deeply flawed, and those failures cascaded into a national crisis of confidence. Americans deserve a straight accounting: who ordered what, who approved what, and who lied to whom — and those questions cannot be answered by cable pundits or partisan op-eds. The IG’s findings and the newly declassified annexes demand answers and, where warranted, consequences.

Navarro’s voice matters here because he paid a price for refusing to cave to partisan pressure; he went to prison for standing by his principles and now stands at the front of the accountability fight. He and other conservatives say the same pattern that sent loyal Trump aides to the gallows should be examined for the architects of the hoax — if our justice system is equal under law, no one is above it, not even former presidents. That’s a principle worth fighting for, and it’s exactly what Navarro was trying to drive home.

The left and their media allies will call this a conspiracy theory until courtroom doors are opened and depositions are taken, but citizens are waking up to the real scandal: a coordinated effort to weaponize intelligence and weaponize the press against the American people’s chosen leader. If we allow elite cover-ups and selective prosecutions to stand, we will never again have a fair fight in American politics. It’s time for patriots, jurists, and honest reporters to finish the job the IG started and bring the full weight of the law to bear where it belongs.
