Newly revealed emails are shining a light on one of the darkest failures of our intelligence agencies—a failure rooted in bias and incompetence, heavily influenced by a politically motivated agenda. It’s shocking, but not surprising, to see that the infamous Steele dossier, which has been thoroughly debunked, played a role in the Obama-era intelligence assessment regarding Russian meddling in the 2016 election. This egregious misstep is a blatant testament to how far the deep state is willing to go to undermine a sitting president.
The emails show that even members within the intelligence community were baffled to discover that anyone could take the Steele dossier seriously. A top cybersecurity officer from the National Intelligence Council expressed his disbelief after discovering, quite by accident, that the dossier was used as justification within the dreaded Intelligence Community Assessment (ICA). For years, this document was weaponized against President Trump, all while the Democrats were playing their insidious games fueled by conjecture and lies.
The nerve of the establishment’s elite is astounding. The CIA’s own review condemned the decision to include the dossier as running contrary to “fundamental tradecraft principles.” Yet, former CIA Director John Brennan, in a desperate bid for narrative consistency, placed politics over facts, allowing this junk document to tarnish the integrity of our intelligence processes. This isn’t just negligence; it’s a deliberate distortion of intelligence for political gain.
In what world is it acceptable to elevate unsubstantiated claims into the realm of credibility? Under the Obama administration, the intelligence community was weaponized to serve the whims of those in power, rendering it entirely compromised. The so-called experts were not only aware of the dossier’s questionable origins but actively chose to ignore the warning signs. It raises serious questions: Were they too blinded by their disdain for Trump? Were they colluding with the Clinton campaign to implement a soft coup against a duly elected president?

Let’s not overlook the wider implications of this scandal. The integrity of our intelligence agencies is under siege. For far too long, these institutions have been populated by individuals more concerned with advancing a globalist agenda than serving the American people. Now, more than ever, we need to hold them accountable for their role in this tremendous violation of trust. The only way forward is to dismantle the culture of elitism and corruption that has undermined our democracy.
If the intelligence agencies can conflate credible evidence with politically motivated narratives, one must wonder what other horrors lie hidden within the labyrinth of classified information. Are we willing to tolerate an intel community that operates more like a political machine than a fact-driven entity? The American public deserves better than to be misled by bureaucrats playing politics with our national security. The time for accountability is now. Will the swamp finally be drained, or will it continue to thrive in disgrace?
