Governor Gavin Newsom and his team are at it again, showcasing exactly what’s wrong with the left’s obsession with mimicking and demonizing effective conservative strategies. Recently, desperate for some kind of edge, Newsom’s staff tried to copy Donald Trump’s bold approach to social media. But what do they do instead? They end up creating a broiling mess they can’t control, threatening to unravel them.
Harmeet Dhillon, a steadfast conservative and Assistant Attorney General, found herself at the center of this chaos. Newsom’s team decided to channel their “wokeness” into something as disgraceful as trying to pin a South Carolina judge’s house fire on her. It’s classic deflection from liberals, always pushing the blame onto others while ignorantly ignoring facts. Worse, one of Newsom’s staffers took this ill-conceived bravado to the point of insinuating Dhillon’s address wasn’t hard to find – a move so low, it raises questions about whether this team knows the difference between leadership and cyberbullying.

When caught, what does Newsom’s team do? They demand an apology from Dhillon! How visionary of them to try and flip their own blunder onto someone else, in hopes people simply won’t notice the original offense. It’s akin to being caught with a hand in the cookie jar and then blaming the crumbs on the pet dog. The staffer’s attempt to paint Trump as a master of vile rhetoric only highlights what they can’t stand: Trump is unapologetically successful at resonating with Americans, while their own attempts fizzle in mediocrity.
Truly, Dhillon stands unfazed, refusing to apologize for something she didn’t commit, challenging the bully tactics of these leftist amateurs. And it’s high time more Americans stood up against these reckless antics from the so-called leadership in California. This is a wakeup call, and Americans need to realize that this “woke” trajectory goes nowhere beneficial for the country’s interests.
Instead of emulating Trump’s charisma by throwing wild accusations, Newsom’s team would do well to focus on their own mess in California. But then again, tackling real issues requires competence, something pitifully lacking in their philosophy. Will voters allow these manipulations to continue unchecked, or demand better from those who claim to serve them? That’s what truly needs addressing.
