Nikki Haley, a former U.S. ambassador and previous Republican candidate for president, visited southern Israel, where she attributed some responsibility for the Hamas terrorist group’s killing of Israeli citizens to Iran and Russia.
Haley, accompanied by Israel’s former permanent representative to the U.N. Danny Danon, toured communities impacted by the Hamas attacks that resulted in the deaths of over 1,200 Jews. During her visit, Haley expressed her belief that the violence orchestrated by Hamas was aided by Iran and Russia, with financial support from China.

In the aftermath of the attacks, intelligence officials in the U.S. and abroad suggested Iranian involvement in training and funding the Hamas fighters responsible. Furthermore, reports indicated that some Hamas operatives had entered southern Israel from Gaza using paragliders.
Haley’s assertions regarding foreign involvement in the Hamas attacks align with concerns over global terrorism and the potential impact on U.S. security. Her visit to Israel and remarks serve as a reminder of the need to address and counter international threats to ensure the safety and well-being of American citizens and allies.
