This woman is like a wildcat stalking her prey, eager to pounce and claim her prize.
Even in the face of Trump’s defense that the banks were paid back and no one was harmed, James is dismissive and evasive. And as for legal scholar Jonathan Turley who called the judgment “confiscatory, extreme, and abusive,” she probably dismissed him with an eye roll and a wave of her hand.

She’s teeming with pride over her role in driving columnist E. Jean Carroll’s defamation case against Trump, which resulted in an $83.3 million judgment. She might as well be shouting, “Look at me, I’m taking down a former president! Who’s next?” It’s like she’s on a power trip, and the rush of going after Trump is giving her a wicked high.
It’s clear that Letitia James is relishing every moment of this public flogging of Donald Trump. She’s loving the attention, the power, and the sheer delight of bullying a former president.
