In a shocking turn of events, the leftist city government of New York City has once again proven just how disastrous their decision-making skills can be. They have launched a so-called “one-stop-shop” artificial intelligence chatbot for budding entrepreneurs, but it has been caught doling out some outrageous and downright dangerous advice.
This ridiculous AI chatbot, named MyCity Chatbot and powered by none other than Microsoft’s Azure AI service, has been providing New Yorkers with advice that is not only legally dubious but also potentially harmful to their businesses. The chatbot, which is still in its beta version, has suggested that it’s acceptable to discriminate against tenants based on their income, that employers have the right to take a cut of their employees’ hard-earned tips, and that stores can refuse cash payments. Say what now?
As if that weren’t bad enough, the chatbot even went as far as to approve of serving cheese with rat bites to customers. Yes, you read that right. According to NBC New York, when asked if a restaurant could serve cheese nibbled on by a rodent, the chatbot responded with a horrifying “Yes, you can still serve the cheese to customers if it has rat bites.” Gross, dangerous, and downright irresponsible!
NYC’s “MyCity” government AI chatbot is telling people to break the law.
Mayor Adams says it’s fine, and that this is just part of “ironing out the kinks”…….

And that’s not all. The chatbot also falsely suggested that it’s within an employer’s rights to fire a worker who complains about sexual harassment. I mean, seriously? What kind of dystopian nightmare is the NYC government subjecting its citizens to with this so-called “helpful” tool? It’s more like a disaster waiting to happen!
But wait, it gets even better! Despite the public outcry and the obvious lunacy of the chatbot’s responses, Mayor Eric Adams has defended this catastrophe, claiming that it’s simply part of “ironing out the kinks.” How is it possible for anyone, let alone the mayor of New York City, to defend such a preposterous and dangerous AI program? It’s beyond comprehension!
And as if that weren’t enough, tech experts and professors have come out to criticize the city’s reckless and irresponsible approach to this entire debacle. Julia Stoyanovich, a computer science professor, and director of the Center for Responsible AI at New York University, called the city’s decision “reckless and irresponsible.” Anyone with an ounce of common sense can see that this so-called “helpful” chatbot is nothing short of a disaster waiting to happen.
Despite the potential harm and chaos that MyCity Chatbot’s misguided advice could wreak, the city has made it clear that they have no intention of taking the responsible route and providing accurate and reliable information to its citizens. Instead, they have chosen to roll out unproven and potentially harmful software without proper oversight. How typical of the leftist government in New York City, always putting its citizens at risk and then shrugging off the responsibility!
While Microsoft is reportedly collaborating with city officials to refine the service and align its responses with official city documentation, it’s clear that the damage has already been done. The true intent behind this reckless rollout of the AI chatbot is becoming abundantly clear: it’s just another case of the incompetent leftist government in New York City putting its citizens at risk and defending its indefensible decisions. When will the citizens of New York City finally wake up and say enough is enough? It’s time for a change, and fast!
