New York City has a serious problem on its hands. Socialist candidate Zohran Mamdani won the Democratic primary and is now running to be the city’s next mayor. This is the same guy who wants to nearly double the minimum wage to $30 an hour and freeze rents across the city.
Mamdani calls himself a “democratic socialist” but President Trump sees right through the fancy label. Trump correctly called him a “100% Communist Lunatic” after his primary victory. When asked directly if he’s a communist, Mamdani dodged the question and tried to change the subject.
The man’s radical agenda would destroy what’s left of New York City. He wants free bus service, city-owned grocery stores, and massive tax hikes on successful people. These are the same failed policies that have wrecked cities across America. Working families always pay the price when socialists take control.
What’s really telling is who’s backing this guy. Bernie Sanders and Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez both endorsed him. That should tell you everything you need to know about where his loyalties lie. These are the same people who want to tear down American capitalism.
Mamdani was born in Uganda and came to America as an immigrant. Now he wants to fundamentally change the country that gave him opportunity. He’s pushing the same socialist garbage that has failed everywhere it’s been tried. Hard-working Americans built this city, not government bureaucrats.
The good news is that patriotic Americans are fighting back. Billionaire Bill Ackman has promised to spend “hundreds of millions of dollars” to stop Mamdani. He knows what’s at stake for New York’s future. Real Americans won’t let their city fall to socialist extremism.
Even disgraced former Governor Andrew Cuomo is running as an independent to stop this madness. When even corrupt Democrats think you’ve gone too far left, that says something. The November election will be a battle for New York’s soul.
New Yorkers have a clear choice in November. They can vote for more socialist policies that will drive out businesses and destroy jobs. Or they can choose leaders who believe in American values like hard work and personal responsibility.
