Former President Barack Obama was caught sneaking around London like a teenager past curfew, making a surprise appearance at No. 10 Downing St. to have a secret chat with U.K. Prime Minister Rishi Sunak. The cheeky visit left the press and the public scratching their heads, wondering what the former president was up to.
The sly fox himself, Obama, didn’t even bother to give his adoring fans an explanation for his unexpected visit. He just waltzed right into No. 10 Downing St. with a wave and a smirk, leaving everyone wondering what game he was playing.

Behind closed doors, Obama and Sunak had a cozy little tête-à-tête for about an hour, where they reportedly chatted about all sorts of things, including the mysterious world of artificial intelligence. What, they couldn’t find anything else to talk about? Maybe Obama wanted to give Sunak some pointers on how to appear charismatic!
According to a spokesperson from Downing Street, it was Obama’s team that reached out to set up the rendezvous, and Sunak was just so thrilled to have a chinwag with the former president. They gabbed about the wonderful work of the Obama Foundation, but what exactly does that mean? What kind of mischief is Obama up to across the pond?
As if he couldn’t be any more elusive, Obama slipped out of No. 10 Downing St. with U.S. Ambassador to the United Kingdom Jane Hartley by his side. Reporters, hungry for answers, pestered Obama about the state of democracy in Russia, but did he give a straight answer? Of course not! With a mischievous smile, Obama dodged the question and scurried off to his waiting motorcade. What’s he hiding?
To top it all off, Obama didn’t even have the courtesy to respond to the Washington Examiner’s request for comment. Some things never change!
This isn’t the first time Obama has pulled a stunt like this. Back in 2016, he paid a visit to No. 10 Downing St. to chat with former U.K. Prime Minister David Cameron. What is it with Obama and his cloak-and-dagger meetings across the pond? It’s enough to make you wonder what kind of shenanigans he’s really getting up to.
It’s clear that Obama’s antics in London are just another piece of his ongoing political theater. Who knows what he’s really up to over there, but one thing’s for sure – he’s always up to something!
