Oversight Committee DEMANDS Answers From The Biden Family

James Comer, the Chair of the House Oversight Committee and Republican from Kentucky, is signaling that the Biden family’s actions are under scrutiny by Congress for possible national security implications. He is asking Hunter and Jim Biden to provide documents as part of the committee’s probe into their overseas business ventures. Comer believes that the Biden family has leveraged Joe Biden’s political position and connections for their personal gain, potentially at the expense of American interests.

Comer stated in a statement, “The American people deserve transparency and accountability about the Biden family’s influence peddling. The Oversight Committee is committed to exposing the waste, fraud, and abuse that has taken place at the highest levels of our government. Hunter Biden, James Biden, and Eric Schwerin’s documents, records, and communications are critical to this investigation.”

Comer has requested that the Bidens turn over certain documents, records, and communications by February 22, 2023. These materials include any classified documents from any government entity, communications related to international or domestic travel with any government agency involving Joseph Robinette Biden Jr., James Brian Biden, or Sara Jones Biden, and any international or domestic financial dealings. The list of names relevant to the investigation encompasses Devon Archer, JiaQi Bao, Tony Bobulinski, Jeffrey Cooper, Catherine Dodge, Gongwen Dong, James Gilliar, Patrick Ho Chi-ping, Vuk Jeremic, Zang Jianjun, Ye Jianming, Jonathan Li, Joan Mayer or Joan Peugh, Francis Person, Vadim Pozharskyi, Eric Schwerin, Robert Walker, Mervyn Yan, as well as any entities or companies associated with Rosemont Seneca, Hudson West, Owasco, Bohai Harvest, Skaneateles LLC, Eudora Global LLC, Coldharbour Capital LLC, Lion Hall Group LLC, CEFC, and Burisma.

Comer has also cautioned that any attempts to conceal or destroy documents or information relevant to the committee’s investigation could result in penalties according to Title 18, United States Code, Section 1505. He is committed to getting to the root of the Biden family’s influence peddling and ensuring that the American public is informed about the situation.

The House Oversight Committee is thoroughly examining the actions of the Biden family and Comer is determined to ensure accountability. He has requested key documents from Hunter Biden, Jim Biden, and Eric Schwerin, their former business associate, in order to shed light on their business dealings. Comer believes that these documents will provide transparency and accountability to the public and protect national security. He has also warned the Bidens that any attempt to hide or destroy relevant documents could result in penalties according to Title 18 of the United States Code. It is evident that Comer is unwavering in his quest for the truth about the Biden family’s influence peddling and ensuring that appropriate consequences are imposed.
