A new chapter in Congress is about to unfold as Speaker Mike Johnson prepares to begin his term. All eyes are glued to the speaker’s race, particularly on whether the Republicans in the House will unite behind their current leader. Meanwhile, Democrats are all a-twitter over a social media video featuring none other than the iconic Nancy Pelosi, who appears to be on her way to D.C. to advocate for her famously outlandish “San Francisco values.”
In her video, Nancy greets viewers like a grandmother who just can’t quite keep up with technology. At 84 years old, she enthusiastically announces her mission to represent San Francisco, which is code for rolling out the carpet for policies that have turned America’s once-great city into a dumpster fire. The streets swarmed with criminals, an ever-growing population of the homeless, and for good measure, let’s not forget that there’s now a map designed to help residents avoid human waste. Ah, the proud legacy of Liberalism in action!

What’s truly fascinating is that even the voters in San Francisco seem to be getting a bit tired of her “values.” In a shocking twist (and one that would make any conservative chuckle), they recently sent packing their mayor and rejected a slew of leftist candidates who embodied Pelosi-style governance. The Bay Area’s voters have shown a clear preference for more robust approaches to crime, recently supporting Proposition 36, which reinstates tougher penalties for repeat offenders in a glaring about-face to the soft-on-crime policies of the recent past.
Furthermore, the local media has taken note, describing the electoral results as a loud wake-up call to the liberal agenda that Pelosi has so ardently defended. It’s enough to make a Conservative grin ear-to-ear at the irony that San Francisco voters are themselves looking for accountability as they struggle to navigate the murky waters of crime and chaos instead of embracing their benevolent overlord’s outdated ideals.
Pelosi, of course, is no stranger to drama; her infamous stunt of tearing up President Trump’s State of the Union address was viewed across the nation and solidified her role as the epitome of petulance in politics. After Trump’s resounding victory over Kamala Harris in 2024, the former Speaker was seen sulking in a New York Times interview, flashing a dark foreboding about the possibility of Democrats retaking the House. But amid all her gloom, it seems she might just be out of touch with the very electorate that has increasingly turned against her brand of politics.
Despite stepping down from her speaker role, the Pelosi puppet show continues, with her still having a hand in significant House decisions, like backing Jamie Raskin for the Judiciary Committee and working against the more radical figures within her own party. Even her age has recently caused concern, especially after a fall during an overseas trip led to a hip replacement surgery. Perhaps it’s time for her to pass the baton, but given the grip she holds on her party even after two decades, it seems as if she’s aiming to stick around and keep pushing those radical San Francisco ideals for a while longer.
