It’s a curious role reversal, considering Newsom’s ambitions of potentially taking the Democratic crown himself. One has to wonder if, in his quest for attention, he’s basing his entire strategy on being Biden’s loyal sidekick or perhaps he’s just setting the stage for his own White House bid.
As the political pot simmers, we see Vice President Kamala Harris parading on a book tour, dodging questions like expertly pitched fastballs. She insists President Biden was not just a figurehead who was hidden away but a capable leader – despite some party members expressing a different story. Clearly, there’s still animosity within their ranks regarding Biden’s sidelining in favor of Harris in her match-up against Trump. It’s like a family feud that just can’t seem to resolve itself, with backroom whispers and grudge-holding becoming the norm.
The Democratic Party seems to be steeped in a world of its own making. Isn’t it curious how some manage to describe the intricacies of meetings that rarely happened? It’s like claiming to have read a book by scanning its dust jacket – not exactly confidence-inspiring.
