Many people are frustrated, believing that the current solutions are only perpetuating the cycle. This issue raises questions about how government assistance and societal support may unintentionally contribute to the predicament instead of resolving it.
One troubling aspect of homelessness is the tendency to rely heavily on aid without addressing root causes. When well-meaning individuals provide food and resources to those on the streets, it often leads to a dependence on these handouts. However, research shows that meeting basic needs is a necessary first step towards stability, as homelessness is primarily a structural housing issue rather than a dependency problem.
