Illinois Governor JB Pritzker’s latest plan to criminalize ICE agents for simply doing their jobs is the perfect example of liberal lunacy run wild. Instead of tackling real crime or fixing the border crisis, Pritzker wants to weaponize state and local laws to go after federal immigration officers. It’s a reckless stunt designed to protect illegal immigrants and punish those who uphold the law. This is not law and order—it’s lawlessness disguised as “justice.”
Pritzker is basically telling ICE agents, “If you enforce federal immigration laws and happen to upset some activists or anarchists, you’ll face prosecution.” Imagine that: an ICE agent trying to control a violent mob, maybe even using tear gas to keep order, only to be dragged into court by a political vendetta fueled by open-borders fanatics. If this isn’t a blatant encouragement for chaos, what is? When local officials go after ICE agents instead of criminals, they send a clear message—crime pays, and law enforcement gets punished.

This anti-ICE crusade also exposes the deep hypocrisy of the left. They scream about “human rights” yet give a free pass to illegal border crossers, and now want to criminalize those trying to uphold national security. Meanwhile, if any regular citizen or police officer did what these federal agents do under relentless pressure, they’d be held accountable in a heartbeat. But when push comes to shove, liberals defend the lawbreakers and attack the law enforcers. It’s classic radical politics, directly undermining our sovereignty and safety.
Let’s not forget the bigger picture: Pritzker’s move is a slap in the face to federal authority. It’s yet another act of defiance by blue states against the rule of law, part of an ongoing effort to neuter immigration enforcement nationwide. This is part of a globalist-backed agenda that values open borders over national security, open immigration over American workers, and political theater over common sense. Every day, this reckless approach weakens America from within.
It’s time to hold these politicians accountable for their dangerous games. Encouraging hostility toward ICE agents doesn’t protect communities—it endangers them. Law enforcement officers deserve our support, not prosecution for doing their jobs. So here’s a question for Pritzker and his ilk: If enforcing the law is criminal, then what’s your plan for fixing the millions flooding across the border unchecked?
