Psaki Melts Down as Christie Crashes Out, Trump Triumph Looms

In fresh liberal shenanigans, MSNBC talking head and former White House press secretary Jen Psaki is shedding crocodile tears over the suspension of 2024 presidential contender Chris Christie’s campaign. Psaki bemoaned Christie’s exit, whining that he “will be missed” during the election circus.

But Psaki didn’t stop there. She griped about how Christie not being in the running means voters won’t be reminded of some “harsh truths” about how former President Trump is one step closer to reclaiming the Republican nominee status for 2024. The nerve! Psaki did try to soften the blow by suggesting that Christie might still give former United Nations Ambassador Nikki Haley a boost with an endorsement. Apparently, polls show Haley is the closest contender to Trump before the Iowa caucuses.

But wait, there’s more! Christie, who didn’t shy away from criticizing Trump, decided to drop out of the 2024 Republican primary. This happened on the same night that Haley and Florida Governor Ron DeSantis duked it out and Trump held a town hall event. What a whirlwind of events!

Before Christie threw in the towel, he was overheard saying on a hot mic that Haley is “gonna get smoked” in the primary race, adding that “she’s not up to this.” Haley brushed off Christie’s jabs, emphasizing that her campaign is all about forging relationships with the folks and earning their trust.

And now, ruffle your feathers, dear readers, because ahead of the Iowa caucuses, Trump is leading the pack with a whopping 48% in the polls! Haley is playing second fiddle at 20%, DeSantis is trailing at 16%, and billionaire Vivek Ramaswamy is holding on at 8%. And, of course, Trump has scoffed at the idea that Christie’s exit will give Haley an edge, saying he’s “not exactly worried about it.” Classic Trump!

Oh, but the show must go on! The New Hampshire caucuses are right around the corner, starting on Jan. 23, right after the Iowa caucuses. Trump is revving up for a rally in Rochester, New Hampshire on Jan. 21, coincidentally the same night that CNN is hosting a primary debate. Talk about political drama!
