As the storm clouds gather in Southern Ukraine, one only has to look at the lackluster coverage from the left to see that they are preoccupied with anything but the threat posed by Putin. The Biden administration calculates that Ukrainian forces can hold off Russia for just a bit longer, all while ignoring the volatility of the situation and the looming consequences of their inaction.
Speaking of consequences, it seems the Democrats have turned into masters at political gymnastics. They now find themselves in the peculiar position of having to rebrand someone they once wanted to discard like last week’s leftovers. Their latest spinning trick involves placing Kamala Harris on a pedestal, demanding that voters pay homage to their chosen vice president. If this isn’t the epitome of political irony, it’s hard to know what is. This is a party that could barely contain its cringe when Harris first joined the ticket, and now they are trying to sell voters on her value. How noble of them.
