The fact that the shooter found a perch on a rooftop seems like an egregious oversight, one that Burchett is determined to scrutinize.
Adding a spiritual angle to his fierce critique, Burchett remarked that divine intervention played a role in saving Trump’s life. He hopes this close call serves as a stark reminder to the former President about who’s in charge. As for those spinning theories that the whole thing was staged to boost Trump’s support, Burchett dismisses them outright as blatant idiocy.
While the Republican National Convention is set to feature a roster of high-profile speakers, from Rep. Byron Donalds (FL) to Tucker Carlson, and even a musical nod from Lee Greenwood, Burchett remains unwavering. To him, the real show ought to be in Washington, unravelling the threads of this near-tragedy—not basking in the spotlight. Trump himself, showing his characteristic defiance, initially considered delaying his speech but chose instead to stand firm, refusing to let an assassin alter his plans.
