Rep. Keith Self from Texas has taken a brave stand against what many see as President Biden’s reckless decision-making, surrounding the authorization of Ukraine to use Army Tactical Missile Systems (ATACMS) to strike inside Russian territory. Self maintains that Biden’s late-game decision-making could ruin any chance of a peaceful resolution that seemed possible with a Trump presidency looming on the horizon. A potential misstep, it appears, could lead us careening toward global disaster.

The Texas representative emphasized that the American people, through their votes, expressed a clear desire for peace and not an escalation into World War III.
