Retired Navy SEAL Team Sets World Records, Honors Fallen Heroes

Retired Navy SEAL Mike Sarraille and his team of former special operations service members recently achieved an incredible feat in Antarctica. They completed seven skydiving jumps on seven continents in just seven days, a task known as the “Triple 7.” This remarkable accomplishment allowed them to pay tribute to their fallen brothers and set four world records in the process.

Sarraille emphasized the importance of living life to the fullest while honoring those who made the ultimate sacrifice for their country. The jumps took the team from Antarctica to several locations around the world, including Chile, Egypt, and Australia, with each jump dedicated to specific fallen service members. These brave individuals, like Michael Monsoor, who sacrificed his life to save others, were never far from Sarraille’s mind throughout the endeavor.

The team’s efforts culminated in a final celebratory jump in Tampa, Florida, honoring the 13 service members lost in Afghanistan during the 2021 withdrawal. Sarraille made it clear that their focus was not on world records but on faith, relationships, character, and integrity, emphasizing that their sacrifices were for America.

The team’s journey has been documented in a new film called Triple 7: They Said It Couldn’t Be Done, directed and produced by Dan Myrick. Myrick shed light on the true nature of these service members, dispelling Hollywood stereotypes and highlighting their creativity, empathy, and intelligence. The film aims to honor the fallen and raise funds for Folds of Honor, which provides scholarships to the families of fallen service members and disabled veterans.

Sarraille and his team’s incredible achievement serves as a testament to their dedication to honoring and remembering their fellow service members. Their resilience and determination are a reminder of the sacrifices made by military families, who are often the unsung heroes.
