RNC Chair Whatley: Democrat Policies, Not Just Biden, Spell Disaster for Voters

The head honcho of the Republican National Committee has made it crystal clear: Democrats are in more trouble than Biden on a bike. Michael Whatley, who took the reins of the RNC in March, points out the glaring elephant in the room—the Democrats’ agenda is a total turn-off for voters of all kinds, way beyond Biden’s daily gaffes and frequent fumbles.

It’s almost comical how the left’s desperation to defend Biden’s cognitive abilities misses a bigger issue: the message they peddle is poison. Swap in Kamala Harris, Gavin Newsom, or even Gretchen Whitmer—America’s families will still be struggling under the burden of their policies. Whatley practically chuckles at the thought; no matter the mascot, the Democrats can’t shed the stench of their disastrous playbook.

Whatley highlights that President Trump’s unyielding focus on the economy and border security hits home with voters far more than any Democratic drivel. Under Biden’s watch, American families are being financially squeezed by skyrocketing gas, grocery, and housing costs, not to mention the chaos at the southern border. The policies, not just the policies’ peddler, are the problem. And any Democrat swaparoo isn’t fooling anybody.

When thousands of Republicans descend on Milwaukee for the Republican National Convention, led by Whatley and Lara Trump, it’s going to be a massive pep rally. A parade of Republican heavyweights will take to the stage, culminating in Trump’s triumphant nomination. And despite the media’s obsession with his legal battles, Trump still has the wind at his back.

Biden’s lackluster debate performances have sent Democrats scurrying around like headless chickens. Meanwhile, the Republicans are more unified than seen in decades. Even former primary contenders like Nikki Haley and Florida’s Governor Ron DeSantis are rallying behind Trump, putting aside primary rivalries for the greater good.

Sure, there’s grumbling from pro-life activists about adjustments in the party platform, but Whatley’s message is unshakeably clear: Trump stands ready to restore America’s borders, economy, and global standing. And as the general election looms, it’s a battle of strength versus weakness. Republicans march forward under a banner of strength, unified and resolute, while Biden stumbles in the shadows of a crumbling Democratic dream.
