The New York Times reported today that a group started by none other than the socialist Sen. Bernie Sanders is encouraging voters in Michigan to vote “uncommitted” in the Democratic primary as a protest against President Joe Biden’s handling of the war in Gaza. Now, let’s break this down. Bernie Sanders, the guy who wants to give away free stuff to everyone and turn America into a socialist nightmare, thinks he knows better than President Biden? Give me a break!
Apparently, Biden’s support for our ally Israel in its fight against Hamas has upset some Democratic voters in Michigan, particularly those in the Muslim and Arab American communities. Well, it’s no surprise that a group like Sanders’ Our Revolution would try to capitalize on this. They’re desperate to undermine President Biden and push their radical agenda.

Former Democratic Rep. Andy Levin of Michigan, who signed the letter urging voters to go “uncommitted,” claims that this is the best way to help Biden. Really? The best way to help Biden is to sabotage his chances in the general election against former President Trump? Levin even said that Biden could lose Michigan to Trump if he doesn’t change his position on Gaza. I hate to break it to Levin, but Trump is leading in the polls for a reason. Maybe it’s because people appreciate a president who stands up for our allies and doesn’t bow down to terrorists.
But it’s not just Michigan that Our Revolution is targeting. They’re reaching out to people in other states too, and they’re using all the typical left-wing tactics like phone and text banking and events on college campuses. They’re hoping to get at least 10% of Democratic primary voters in Michigan to vote “uncommitted.” Sorry, Bernie, but your socialist revolution isn’t going to happen. Americans see through your radical agenda and we won’t be fooled.
It’s worth noting that Biden won Michigan in 2020 by a slim margin, so there’s no room for complacency. But let’s also remember that he won an overwhelming majority of Muslim voters nationwide. So, while Sanders and his cronies may be making noise, they certainly don’t represent the majority. Biden has the support of the American people, and that’s what matters.
In the end, it’s ironic that a socialist like Sanders is trying to undermine a Democratic president. But it just goes to show how extreme and out-of-touch the left has become. They’re willing to sacrifice the well-being of our allies and our national security just to push their own radical agenda. Thankfully, Americans are smart enough to see through their lies and stand with President Biden in defending our values and our allies.
