However, it appears he drew the line when asked to divert his mission from protecting the president’s granddaughter to playing taxi driver for her friends after a night out. A more prudent approach would be to allow them to seek their own transportation, especially if their nightlife involves late-night excursions to city clubs. After all, if they feel endangered, they should certainly find Joe Biden, who appears to be in hiding more often than not.
The incident became even more baffling when the agent found himself pressured to write a memo detailing the night while omitting anything that might make Maisy or her entourage look bad. This again highlights a concerning preference for protecting the Biden image over adhering to the values of accountability and integrity in government service.
