Senator John Kennedy is right to call out the mainstream media for their blatant disregard of journalistic duty when it comes to President Biden’s decline. The media have long operated under a false veil of integrity, but recent revelations blow that fragile facade to smithereens. For years, the majority of the media remained willfully blind to Biden’s evident struggles. Americans saw a president who fumbled through sentences, walked like he was trudging through quicksand, and spoke as if he had just arrived from a different planet. Yet, the media conveniently ignored these glaring truths.
Kennedy isn’t afraid to hold their feet to the fire. He’s expressed what many in this nation have already recognized—the media’s negligence borders on complicity. This isn’t about having a soft spot for Biden. No, it’s about preserving their cherished liberal agenda. The media didn’t report, not because they didn’t see the truth, but because they were afraid that exposing Biden’s weaknesses would open the door for Trump. Their advocacy journalism is eroding the very foundation of the free press they claim to defend.
And let’s not forget, this isn’t the only case of the media burying their heads in the liberal sand. Whether it’s ignoring the Hunter Biden laptop fiasco or peddling the discredited Steele dossier, the mainstream media have repeatedly squandered the trust of the American people. Their actions reek of hypocrisy. They’re quick to champion transparency and truth when it suits them but turn a blind eye when things might help conservatives.

Today, with the release of a book exposing more about Biden’s decline, the media suddenly find the courage to talk. Still, they’re missing the essential point. They failed to acknowledge their own grave omission when it was needed most. Their selective curiosity is nothing more than a shallow attempt to regain credibility, but it’s already too late. The American people don’t need another empty apology. They need honest reporters.
Every liberal outlet can claim it’s just doing its job as Tapper’s book hits the stands, but that ignores years of failing to do that very job when it mattered. The media have shown their true colors: when issues align with their interests, they’re all in. Otherwise, they step back and let America suffer from a lack of information. Isn’t it time they stopped acting as agents of a liberal agenda and started honoring their oath to inform the public? At this point, one can only ask if we even need this brand of “freedom of the press.”
