In a rare display of reason overshadowing the usual partisan chaos, Democratic Senator John Fetterman from Pennsylvania is pushing back against his own party’s reckless calls to dismantle Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE). Not all Democrats have lost their minds. Fetterman has boldly pointed out that scrapping ICE is not only ludicrous, but it risks the safety and security of citizens nationwide. These calls are just another example of radical leftist fantasies that have zero basis in reality.

It’s refreshing to see a Democrat speaking up for national security with such clarity. While many of his counterparts, like Representatives Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez and Adriano Espaillat, are busy demonizing ICE as a rogue menace, Fetterman understands the critical mission ICE plays. The agency is not some cartoon villain; it is a crucial pillar in maintaining order and security, especially with President Trump enhancing efforts to deport criminals lurking illegally within our borders.
These liberal politicians are so absorbed in their own conspiracies against law enforcement that they’re blind to the chaos they would unleash by tearing ICE down. People like Elizabeth Warren, who want to replace ICE with a vague, undefined system full of “American values,” clearly don’t realize that protecting our people should be priority number one. Sadly, it seems logical thinking is in short supply on the left.
The left wants to destroy what holds this country secure because of misplaced humanitarian concerns or, worse, political grandstanding. But citizens know the truth. They can see how Fetterman’s stance reveals the void between sensible governance and radical anti-Americanism. Conservatives firmly recognize that we defend the right to enforce our laws—the backbone of sovereignty.
Perhaps what is most astonishing is the left’s unfettered willingness to indulge in fantasy rather than tackle real issues plaguing the nation. We need to question their priorities at every turn. Who truly benefits from weakening our national security? Is it American families or those more interested in open borders and global chaos? The answer is glaringly obvious.
