The Biden White House seems to be pulling a disappearing act yet again, as they called a lid before noon on Monday, canceling any public events or briefings with reporters for the rest of the day. But don’t worry, they want you to know that President Joe Biden is still hard at work, even though Hamas is holding Americans hostage in the Gaza Strip. So what was Biden busy with while Americans were in danger? Oh, just a little chat with Special Counsel Robert Hur about his mishandling of classified information after he left the vice presidency in 2017.
It seems that Biden thought it was a good idea to stash classified documents next to his fancy corvette in his Delaware home where his trouble-prone son, Hunter Biden, happened to spend a lot of time during the pandemic. Who needs secure government facilities when you can just throw some confidential files next to your sports car, right? The audacity!
But fear not, the White House wants you to know that they are cooperating with the investigation led by Special Counsel Hur. They even went as far as conducting a two-day interview with President Biden himself. How generous! And just to make sure we’re all on the same page, they held the interview at the White House, because why not use taxpayer-funded resources for personal matters?
It’s truly remarkable how Biden manages to juggle his questionable handling of classified information while also evading the public eye. But don’t worry, he’ll find some time between interviews and secret document stashings to give remarks about the Israeli war against Hamas. Because when you’re president, priorities matter.
