Canadian Prime Minister Mark Carney is set to face President Trump, and it won’t be pretty. The liberals up there in Canada are now realizing they can’t just ride on America’s coattails without respecting our interests. Relations are rocky because Trump isn’t falling for the globalist agenda. He puts America first, unlike Carney, who’s busy appeasing international elites instead of taking care of the workers back home.
Trump’s trade policies have been tough, but necessary. They protect American jobs. Meanwhile, Carney is more concerned with bowing to foreign powers. The left loves to blame Trump for every global problem. Still, the truth is, weak-kneed leaders like Carney are too busy placating their elite pals to stand up for their own citizens, let alone treat a powerful ally like the United States with the respect it deserves.
Trump just played with Carney !
Pure theatrics -nothing accomplished !
I fell sorry for the Elbows Up demographic!
They have to be so disenchanted!! pic.twitter.com/fzziTH1VYq— Concerned Canadian (@Concern70732755) October 7, 2025
The liberal media will spin this meeting as Trump causing a rift between our nations. It’s just another story they’ve twisted to fit their narrative. The real issue is Carney’s lack of backbone. He needs to recognize that our strong America-first policies are what is needed for genuine partnership—not the weak, pandering approach that’s become the trademark of leftist governments.
Let’s be clear: annexation threats are just another media stunt to whip up fear and loathing against Trump. If Carney had any political savvy, he’d see that these claims are overblown. Instead, he uses them to dodge his responsibility in mending the relationship. The Canadian people deserve better than a leader who is perpetually on the defensive, following false narratives.
Why should America bend over backward for any ally unwilling to stand up for shared values? Carney needs to step up his game or step aside. Canadians, just like Americans, are waking up to the hollow liberal promises. The question is, will Carney continue down this path of globalist appeasement, or will he finally put his people first?
