The liberal media is at it again, swooning over the latest migrant caravan making its way through Mexico to the US border. This massive group of over 8,000 asylum seekers is on a mission to flood our great nation, and it’s time to call out the radical left’s dangerous open borders agenda.
These migrant families from Cuba, Haiti, and Honduras think they can just waltz into the United States, but they were in for a rude awakening when they were handed sandwiches, a bottle of water, and a banana by a local church for their Christmas Eve dinner. While hardworking Americans were enjoying their holiday feasts, these migrants were sleeping on cardboard or plastic under awnings and tents. It’s a tough situation, but the last thing we need is more people straining our resources at the border.

To make matters worse, radical migrant-rights activist Luis Garcia Villagran is leading the charge, boasting that the caravan could swell to a staggering 15,000 people by the time it reaches the border. “We won’t stop — we’ll keep walking,” he vowed. This is a blatant disregard for our immigration laws, and it’s time for the Biden administration to take a stand and protect our country’s sovereignty.
The influx of new migrants is putting an unbearable strain on our Border Patrol, with as many as 10,000 migrants being arrested each day at the southwest border. The total number of migrant encounters in December has already surpassed 200,000, and the Mexican government has detected about 680,000 migrants moving through the country in 2023. This is a crisis of epic proportions, and it’s clear that our border security is at a breaking point.
The National Border Patrol Council has sounded the alarm, stating that agents are overwhelmed by the surge in migrants, with the migrants outnumbering agents 200 to 1 at one Texas crossing. The Biden administration needs to wake up and recognize that their lax immigration policies are allowing cartels to control our border. This is not about compassion — it’s about enforcing our laws and protecting American citizens.
It’s time for President Biden to put America first and work with our Mexican counterparts to stem the tide of migrants coming into our country. While the Mexican government has expressed willingness to help, Mexican President Andrés Manuel López Obrador is pushing for the US to ease up on its sanctions against leftist governments and provide more financial assistance to Latin American countries. It’s clear that Obrador is trying to use this crisis to push his own agenda, and it’s up to the Biden administration to stand firm and uphold our national security.
As Secretary of State Antony Blinken, Homeland Security Secretary Alejandro Mayorkas, and White House Homeland Security adviser Liz Sherwood-Randall meet with Mexican officials, it’s crucial that they prioritize America’s interests and take a strong stance against this unprecedented surge of migrants. The fate of our nation’s security hangs in the balance, and it’s time for the Biden administration to show some backbone and defend our borders.
