A sick gunman attacked innocent children during morning Mass at a Catholic church in Minneapolis on Wednesday. Two precious kids, just 8 and 10 years old, were murdered while sitting in church pews. Seventeen other people were shot, including 14 more children who were just trying to worship God.
This was a targeted attack on Christians and their children during the holiest moment of their week. The coward shooter fired a rifle through church windows at kids who were celebrating the start of their school year. He also used a shotgun and pistol in his evil rampage before taking his own life.
This is what happens when our society abandons God and traditional values. Liberal politicians have created a culture that mocks faith and treats Christianity like the enemy. Now we see the deadly results when sick individuals decide to make churches their target.
These beautiful children were doing nothing wrong except praying and learning about their faith. They were sitting peacefully in God’s house when this monster decided to steal their lives away. No child should ever fear going to church or school in America.
The brave Minneapolis police officers rushed to save lives while this madman was still shooting. Police Chief Brian O’Hara called this exactly what it was – a deliberate attack on innocent worshippers. Thank God for our law enforcement heroes who put their lives on the line.
We need to protect our churches and schools with serious security measures right now. Too many soft targets are being left defenseless while politicians debate useless gun laws that only hurt law-abiding citizens. Our kids deserve real protection, not empty promises.
This attack happened in a Democrat-run city that has struggled with rising crime for years. Minneapolis leaders have spent more time defunding police than protecting innocent families. Now two more children are dead because of failed liberal policies.
Americans must stand together to defend our faith and protect our children from these evil attacks. We cannot let anti-Christian hatred continue to spread in our communities. Every church and school needs the resources to keep our most precious citizens safe from monsters like this.
