Americans are once again witnessing the left’s latest theatrical display of virtue signaling. Liberal groups, in an act of orchestrated defiance, are preparing for nationwide protests against President Trump’s military parade. This spectacle is nothing new; the left seems to have crafted an art form out of protesting anything that remotely celebrates America and our brave servicemen and women.
These so-called “No Kings” protests are a clear jab at a proud moment for our nation. The military parade is a reminder of our country’s strength and the sacrifices made by those in uniform. Yet, the left seizes any opportunity to belittle and combat it. They rain on our patriotic parades because their globalist agenda does not align with the traditional American values that made this country great.
This Saturday, over 1800 “No Kings” protests nationwide will peacefully protest Trump’s embracing of a military-led authoritarianism & a Putin and North Korea-style military parade in Washington D.C. Wish I was in the US that day, will be there soon after.https://t.co/hVPXTYB9j4 pic.twitter.com/Tp6nczlHlG

It’s almost comical to watch. The left, which claims to champion democracy, acts like spoiled children anytime our nation tries to rejoice in its sovereignty and achievements. Their actions scream hypocrisy as they protest against a parade that honors the military, the very institution that secures the freedom allowing them to march in the streets.
Furthermore, these protests reveal a common thread in liberal thinking: a disdain for authority, structure, and history. They can’t comprehend why everyday Americans take pride in military might. Instead, they choose to see our symbols of strength as signs of oppression. But what these misguided protests show is an ingrained resistance to anything that doesn’t fit their agenda of diluting national pride.
A question for every patriot out there: How long will we let these anti-American sideshows steal the spotlight? Let’s stand firm. Let those who disparage what we hold dear know that their protests cannot drown out our pride. Why should we let a small group of detractors define our vision of greatness?
