President Trump’s recent executive action to address domestic terrorism has drawn a sharp and, frankly, predictable rebuke from scores of left-wing nonprofit organizations. In a move clearly designed to restore order and protect Americans from violence that’s racked cities for years, the president’s directive targets networks stoking chaos under the false banners of “equity” or “social justice.” Yet, instead of joining a national effort to support safety, a slew of far-left groups immediately launched a coordinated media blitz, denouncing Trump and, by extension, law enforcement. Their outrage should surprise no one—it fits their pattern of defending those who tear down, rather than build up, the nation.
Among the groups leading the backlash are organizations with openly radical records—from excusing Hamas atrocities and anti-Israel animus, to demanding police abolition and applauding mob violence. They aren’t just critics of traditional American values; they seek to gut the institutions that have protected our society for generations. This is the face of a movement that cares nothing for public safety, the rule of law, or national sovereignty. The fact that such organizations seek to block presidential efforts to stop political violence says more about their loyalties than any of their slogans could.

President Trump’s national security memorandum, unlike the evasions of previous administrations, calls out these groups and their tactics for what they are: deliberate attempts to radicalize and incite lawlessness. The memo aims at Antifa and similar entities that have earned their reputation not through peaceful protest, but through arson, assault, and the intimidation of anyone standing in their way. The response from the “progressive” left? To cry about free speech—never mind that the right to free speech doesn’t cover the right to riot, loot, or threaten innocent Americans.
It’s telling that groups like the Council on American-Islamic Relations and American Muslims for Palestine are spearheading opposition to Trump’s crackdown, despite their own members often promoting anti-American agendas or cozying up to foreign extremists. What’s even more alarming is how radical activists here at home—defying subpoenas, evading accountability, and disrespecting law enforcement—continue to enjoy protection from left-leaning politicians and sympathetic courts. Their so-called movements, whether waving the Black Lives Matter or “climate justice” banners, are all too often used as shields for lawlessness, not justice.
The line has been drawn: Americans must decide if the nation should continue caving to the endless tantrums and destructive mobs embraced by leftist nonprofits, or if it’s time, finally, to defend law and order. President Trump’s move isn’t an attack on liberty—it’s a stand against domestic disintegration. True patriots know that protecting our streets from violent radicals is the foundation of freedom. If leadership in Washington fails to act, those bent on dismantling America from within will only grow bolder. The choice is clear—and it’s one between chaos and the rule of law.
