Another day, another publicity stunt from the radical left. Climate activist Greta Thunberg was aboard a Gaza-bound flotilla when one of their boats caught fire off the coast of Tunisia. The activists immediately screamed “drone attack” and blamed Israel.
But hold on a minute. Tunisian authorities quickly shot down these wild claims. They said no drones were detected anywhere near the area. Officials suggested the fire probably started from a cigarette or faulty life jackets.
This whole thing smells fishy from the start. Thunberg and her crew of anti-Israel activists were trying to break a naval blockade. When their boat caught fire, they saw a golden opportunity to play victim and blame the Jewish state.
The activists posted dramatic videos online showing flames and people shouting. They claimed it was “100 percent a drone that dropped a bomb.” But where’s the actual proof of any drone or bombing?
Smart people are asking the right questions here. Did these attention-seeking activists stage this whole incident for maximum media coverage? It wouldn’t be the first time the far-left manufactured a crisis to push their agenda.
Thunberg has made a career out of dramatic performances and climate hysteria. Now she’s jumped into the anti-Israel movement with both feet. This suspicious boat fire gives her exactly the kind of headlines she craves.
The timing is just too convenient. These activists knew their little Gaza stunt would get ignored by the media. But a fake “drone attack” gets front page coverage and makes Israel look like the bad guy.
Americans are getting tired of these manufactured outrages from spoiled European activists. While we’re working hard to pay our bills, Thunberg is sailing around the Mediterranean staging publicity stunts and spreading anti-American propaganda.
