America is finally getting serious about border security. ICE is training thousands of new agents at their academy in Georgia to protect our nation. The Trump administration is moving fast to hire 10,000 new immigration officers by the end of this year.
At the Federal Law Enforcement Training Center in Brunswick, Georgia, new recruits are learning to enforce our immigration laws. They train with firearms and study the legal rules that keep our communities safe. These brave men and women will soon be on the front lines defending America.
ICE has made smart changes to speed up the training process. They cut unnecessary Spanish language classes and now use translation software instead. This means officers can get on the street in just eight weeks after finishing their training.
