Trump Administration To Address Border Crisis And Missing Children Concerns

The incoming Trump administration is gearing up to tackle the serious issue of missing children as part of a broader strategy to address the border crisis. Tom Homan, the president-elect’s choice for border czar, turned some heads by highlighting that 300,000 kids have gone missing in America, lost amidst the chaos created by unchecked illegal immigration. One can only hope this isn’t the beginning of a new trend in missing sock puppets as well.

With the announcement of a national emergency to facilitate mass deportations of illegal immigrants, Trump is not going to let any grass grow under his feet. According to Homan, the deportation plan will be rolled out in three phases, with the prioritization of national security threats topping the list. This should send a clear message to those criminal elements causing mayhem across the country: Time’s up, and we’re coming for you. The second priority involves securing the border, which is as crucial as getting a new roll of duct tape before tackling any home repair project—absolutely necessary.

The issue of the missing 300,000 children is close to Homan’s heart, as he pointed out that many of those kids may have fallen victim to heinous crimes, such as human trafficking and forced labor. Under the watch of the previous administration, many of these children were unceremoniously released to sponsors who weren’t properly vetted. It’s baffling how this kind of negligence was allowed to happen in the first place. If there’s one thing conservatives hope to see, it’s a government that actually tries to keep tabs on vulnerable populations instead of playing hide-and-seek with a stack of paperwork.

Trump’s strategy will also focus on finishing what the last administration started. After all, under Trump’s leadership, the U.S. recorded a 45-year low in illegal border crossings, clearly showing that when firm measures are in place, results follow. Homan used a football analogy, implying it’s time to finish the game and build that border wall. After all, what can go wrong when you reinforce your defenses? Unfortunately, it seems the opposing team—mostly comprised of Democratic officials—are on the sidelines, throwing tantrums rather than contributing to the final score.

State and local officials like Gov. J.B. Pritzker and Boston Mayor Michelle Wu, who already made it clear that cooperation with the Trump administration won’t happen, might want to review the playbook. Homan suggested they should simply “get the hell out of the way.” The touched nerve has led to complaints of fearmongering from the Left, to which RNC Co-Chairwoman Lara Trump responded by reiterating that criminals would be the primary targets of these deportations. If nothing else, it seems the incoming administration is keen to show that the law is back in session. No hall passes allowed.
