Fast forward to today, and some of Trump’s supporters are suggesting that not only is James a hypocrite, but she might have been doing the very same thing she accused Trump of. As they say, what goes around, comes around—or in this case, what goes around ends up in a courtroom with some very inconvenient truths.
Independent journalist and die-hard Trump supporter, Laura Loomer, has stepped into the spotlight with claims that she has “damaging receipts” about AG James. While she hasn’t released these receipts yet, Loomer’s post has already set off a firestorm of speculation. It seems that Loomer believes some “very powerful people” could leverage this information to deliver a knockout blow to the AG’s credibility. Instead of keeping her findings private until the right moment, Loomer appears to have kicked the door wide open, inviting speculation and intrigue into the whole affair.

While Loomer raises eyebrows with her hints of proof, the former president—never one to miss an opportunity—has re-tweeted the claims made by his longtime ally Roger Stone, highlighting a supposed pattern of hypocrisy in James’s financial disclosures. Stone declared that upon examination of her assets, it appears James inflated her property values for mortgages, a move he argues mirrors what she accused Trump of doing. If true, James might just find herself on the receiving end of the sort of scrutiny she has aimed at Trump for years.
The saga took shape when James, during her election campaign, echoed her desire to target Trump, a promise that did not fade once she took office.
