It’s a no-brainer: Putin’s actions, including record attacks on Ukraine using drones and missiles, highlight his insatiable appetite for Ukrainian resources. He’s after land, minerals, and anything else he can grab, with utter disregard for international stability and peace. But guess what? It’s time to turn the tables. With over 80 lawmakers across the aisle onboard, imposing sanctions is not just the right thing to do—it’s necessary.
While liberals often whine about negotiations, real leaders like Trump understand you need leverage to get results. The bipartisan effort to sanction nations that buy Russian oil is a masterstroke. It is designed not just to curb Russia’s aggression but also to strengthen Trump’s hand in negotiations. These are serious matters that require decisive leadership—leadership the GOP is showing.
America should not play nice with bullies. Will Democrats finally see through their rose-colored glasses and join the fight against Putin’s regime, or will they continue to be blinded by their own incompetence and passivity? It’s high time for true patriots to unite and take a stand. Putin’s game ends here. America will not be a pushover.
