Trump Calls Out Evil as U.S. Rallies to Confront Iran Threat

When Breitbart’s White House correspondent Nick Gilbertson asked President Trump why so many countries with differing agendas now appear united in backing the United States and Israel against Iran, the president answered plainly: “They’re evil.” That blunt moral clarity is exactly what Americans want from a commander-in-chief who refuses to mince words about a regime that has sponsored terrorism and threatened our allies for decades.

The president’s comment came amid a dramatic escalation in which U.S. and Israeli forces carried out coordinated strikes on Iranian facilities — a campaign the administration described as a decisive blow to an immediate nuclear and regional threat. Whatever the pundits on the left say about timing and intelligence, the outcome has rallied a defensive coalition that understands unchecked Iranian ambition would be catastrophic.

Patriotic Americans should applaud a leader who calls evil by its name instead of pretending geopolitics is a game of polite diplomacy. Conservatives know that moral language matters: labeling the ayatollahs’ reign for what it is — a vicious, theocratic export of terror — strips away the faux-equivalence and moral confusion the establishment media loves to promote. No equivocation is required when the safety of our friends and the security of the West are on the line.

Of course, the usual suspects in the legacy press and on the left are already trying to complicate the narrative by obsessing over process and past talking points rather than the present danger. That predictable hand-wringing will not stop brave American service members or Israel’s determined leaders from defending civilization; it only undermines the clear, decisive action that kept a worse war from erupting. There is a time for nuance, and there is a time for victory — and this was the latter.

President Trump has also made clear that America stands with its troops and will back their mission to the end, honoring the courage of those who take the fight to our enemies while demanding results instead of excuses. Conservatives respect strength and accountability; we don’t trade them for feel-good rhetoric or the hollow “diplomacy” that paid off handsomely for Iran in decades past. The president’s leadership has put our military and allies in a position to prevail.

Now is the moment for Americans to rally behind the president and our partners, not for the petty partisan theater that so often paralyzes Washington. We should thank God for leaders who act with conviction, support our soldiers and stand with Israel against tyrants who celebrate our enemies’ deaths. If patriots stand firm and demand clarity and strength from their elected officials, the free world will be safer and more secure for our children.
