Donald Trump knows how to land a punch, and this time it’s French President Emmanuel Macron in the hot seat. But let’s be honest—Macron’s real embarrassment isn’t just Trump cracking jokes at his expense. The real farce is how Macron and his liberal European buddies treated America when we needed a hand with Iran.
Imagine this: the United States, supposed leader of the free world, asking for some basic cooperation from our “allies.” Not boots on the ground, not tanks rolling into Tehran. We’re talking about simple things—like letting American forces use airspace or military bases that we’ve shared with these countries for years. You’d think that’s a no-brainer, right? Well, not for Macron and his fellow globalist cheerleaders. Their answer was a big, fat no.

This is yet another example of how our so-called allies are quick to lecture us on “international cooperation” and “shared values.” But when the chips are down, they’re missing in action. Macron had the chance to step up and prove the strength of the historic alliance between America and France. Instead, he caved to left-wing appeasers and anti-American bureaucrats. He put globalist posturing ahead of real partnership.
It’s always the same story. Liberals in Europe love to wag their fingers at Americans, calling us warmongers or cowboys, all while enjoying the security our tax dollars and military muscle deliver. But when we ask for a little help—just some airspace, nothing dangerous—they run for cover. This is what the woke elite call “solidarity.”
President Trump, as usual, isn’t afraid to call out this hypocrisy. He gets what so many American leaders have forgotten: respect goes both ways. If Europe can’t back the U.S. against rogue regimes like Iran, what’s the point of these alliances anyway? Maybe it’s time we stopped playing along with leaders who turn their backs the moment we ask for something in return.
Macron and his liberal friends can keep their lectures and empty gestures. The American people see right through it. And Trump is the only one bold enough to say what everyone’s thinking: with “friends” like these, who needs enemies?
