Former President Donald Trump kicked off the new year with a fiery social media spree on Truth Social, where he took aim at the alleged political witch hunt launched by special counsel Jack Smith. The former president adamantly proclaimed his innocence, declaring that he had “done nothing wrong” and was merely shedding light on the purported election rigging and theft. Trump staunchly asserted that it was his duty as President and Commander-in-Chief to challenge the election results, emphasizing that he would have violated his oath of office had he not done so.
Facing dual criminal prosecutions for alleged election interference, Trump passionately urged for the protection of future elections from corruption. He sharply criticized the lack of consequences for Democrats who contested the 2016 election, insinuating that President Biden’s indictment of him was a politically motivated vendetta.
Trump didn’t hold back in targeting President Biden, accusing him of a laundry list of alleged “crimes” in a scathing post. The former president highlighted Biden’s purported financial gains from foreign countries, including China, Ukraine, and Russia, through his potential involvement in his son Hunter Biden’s overseas business ventures.
In addition to financial improprieties, Trump attacked Biden’s decisions on the global stage, singling out his handling of the Afghanistan withdrawal and immigration policies. Trump didn’t mince words, condemning what he labeled as the “decimation of American wealth through the Green New Scam.”
Wrapping up his social media rally, Trump didn’t shy away from calling out President Biden and his administration’s alleged concerted efforts to imprison him. He warned that the American people would not tolerate such actions and rallied for a return to his iconic slogan, “MAKE AMERICA GREAT AGAIN.”
