Judging by recent developments, it seems America might finally join our reliable ally, Israel, in sending a clear, no-nonsense message to Iran. While liberals wring their hands about “escalating tensions,” it’s time they face the reality. Iran’s regime has been a thorn in the side of peace-loving nations for decades, and their defiance must be met with steel, not appeasement.
Instead of hand-wringing diplomacy and weak pleas for compliance, Trump’s administration appears to be preparing for action. It’s about time! By deploying more military aircraft to the region, Trump is showing the world, and especially Iran, that America will not sit quietly while threats grow against our friends and interests. This decisive stance is necessary, as Iran’s ambitions have gone unchecked under prior administrations, allowing them to inch ever closer to having nuclear capabilities that threaten global security.
It’s no surprise the left is in a frenzy, always quick to criticize bold actions that protect our freedom and way of life. They’re stuck in their idealistic echo chambers, believing sweet talk and sanctions will miraculously transform a regime that is all-too-happy to chant “Death to America.” Let’s not forget the disastrous Iran nuclear deal that the past administration touted as a triumph. Is it truly a triumph to embolden those who are fundamentally opposed to what America stands for?

That’s an American tradition that Democrats have sadly abandoned but must be revived to keep our nation secure.

Do we let global bullies and tyrants dictate the terms of engagement, or do we forge ahead under the courageous leadership of a president who won’t roll over at the first sign of intimidation? As Trump deliberates, let’s not forget that peace isn’t the absence of conflict, but the presence of justice. And sometimes, justice needs a little firepower.
