Former President Donald Trump held a successful campaign rally in the Bronx, New York, despite Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez’s negative predictions. The congresswoman, known for her far-left views, had criticized Trump’s rally, claiming he was hosting it to raise money for his legal fees and suggesting he was only in the Bronx due to his ongoing trial in Manhattan.
Ocasio-Cortez even took to social media to imply that heavy rain on the morning of the event was a sign from God opposing the rally. However, the rain stopped, and Trump’s supporters showed up in droves, with thousands attending the rally, exceeding the expected turnout by a large margin.

The former president addressed the crowd for about an hour and a half, touching on various topics such as his legal battles, President Biden’s failures, and his plans for the country if re-elected. Despite Ocasio-Cortez’s attempts to discredit the event, it was deemed a success, much to the embarrassment of her and other leftist critics.
Ocasio-Cortez was even called out by a guest speaker at the rally, who humorously criticized her inaccurate predictions and celebrated the beautiful weather that day. This event showcased that Trump still has a significant support base, even in traditionally Democratic areas like the Bronx, despite what his detractors may claim.
